FAQ'S

These are some of the most common questions that we receive:

We pride ourselves on providing low cost, but not cheap, home inspections.  We leverage the efficiency of technology to make our inspection more efficient, by using specialized home inspection apps written especially for handheld devices.  Additionally, our goal is to provide an excellent value and, at the same time, to continue to grow our business by providing quality home inspections at a great price!  When we provide a quality home inspection at a great price, word gets around.  The word of mouth that this creates, saves us a significant amount of money on marketing and we pass those savings on to you, our valued clients.

Since our inspections are quite detailed and thorough and the reports are prepared and printed on site, they generally take approximately about 5 hours to complete.  The actual time will vary due to the size, age and condition of the house, as well as the number of optional systems (ie: pool/spa, well, septic tank, etc.) that a house has.  When you schedule your inspection, we will send you a confirmation that will provide our best guess estimate of the time that your home inspection will likely take.

We will inspect the first optional system for FREE. Any of the home's other optional systems you would like inspected, we charge an additional $10 each.  Optional inspection options are:  Termite, Crawl spaces, Pool/Spa, Well, Septic systems, Outbuildings, or Built-in barbecues.  Most other inspectors charge 3 to 7 times our rate for each of these inspections.

Yes we do.  Our pricing for these inspections is the same as for single family residences and is 10¢/square feet  (Minimum charge, $265).

Yes.  We recommend that you be present at least the last 1/2 hour of the inspection.  You are, however, welcome to accompany us during the entire inspection, if that's what you prefer.  We do realize, however, that it is not always possible for you to be present at the inspection due to other obligations.  Don't worry:  your inspection report will be very detailed and your inspector will be available to answer any questions that you might have, either in person, on the phone or via email.

In the unlikely event that you are not completely satisfied with the inspection that we perform for you, we will do our best to correct or resolve any complaints that you might have.  If you are still not completely satisfied with the inspection that we perform, we will we refund your entire inspection fee.  See our Satisfaction Guarantee page for more details.
